Springs Creative is a heritage textile design house and manufacturer with over 100 years of history in the Carolinas. We design, print, and sell officially licensed and original fabric and Peel and Stick wallpaper. Our in-house design studio creates prints for brands like Disney, Marvel, Peanuts, Nickelodeon, and Star Wars — many of the licensed fabric designs you see at major retailers were designed by our team.

We use a print-on-demand digital process at our facility in South Carolina. Your fabric is printed specifically for you after the order is placed. This modern approach allows us to offer thousands of designs without overstock waste, ensuring every print is always "in stock."

We offer fabric samples for select designs, each printed on the actual substrate so you can assess color and hand. While not every pattern is available as a fat quarter, our curated sample offerings make it easy to preview key designs before placing a full order. We always recommend ordering a sample to ensure the perfect fit for your project.

We offer three primary substrates: Wide Quilting Cotton (100% cotton plain weave, ideal for quilting and general sewing), Cotton Sateen (a smooth, lustrous fabric with a silky hand and soft drape), and Eco-Canvas (a durable heavyweight polyester with 45% recycled content, great for bags, home decor, and upholstery). All fabrics are sold by the yard or as a fat quarter.

Color may vary slightly from batch to batch since each fabric order is printed on demand, but our process is designed to deliver consistent, high-quality results. We offer fabric samples for select designs so you can preview color and material before ordering. When available, we recommend sampling for projects where precise color matching is important.

Springs Creative designs many of the licensed fabric prints carried by major retailers. However, our direct-to-consumer store carries a much wider selection — including exclusive prints, unique colorways, and additional product offerings like Peel and Stick Wallpaper. The designs available at big-box stores represent only a small fraction of what we create.

We are an officially licensed partner for Disney, Hasbro, Paramount, Pixar, Marvel, Peanuts, Nickelodeon, Star Wars, Susan Winget, and other beloved brands. Every design goes through a formal approval process with the brand partner to ensure authenticity and quality compliance.

Licensed character fabrics are sold for personal, non-commercial use only. These licenses generally prohibit manufacturing goods for sale (e.g., selling Disney-branded items on Etsy or at craft fairs). This is an industry-wide policy set by the brand owners, not unique to Springs Creative. Yes—our digitally printed fabrics use water-based inks and are produced without the harsh chemicals often associated with traditional dye processes. This makes them a great option for many children’s items and nursery projects. However, because safety needs can vary by use (such as toys, bedding, or sleepwear), we recommend reviewing any applicable safety guidelines for your specific project and ensuring the fabric type meets your requirements.

To maintain color vibrancy, machine wash warm or cold on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Use a warm iron on the reverse side of the print if needed. We recommend pre-washing before starting your project.

Our fabrics are not pre-shrunk. We recommend pre-washing and pressing before cutting for an accurate fit.

Because each order is custom-printed, our standard production time is 5–7 business days before shipping. During peak seasons, this may vary slightly. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order leaves our facility.

Because each yard is printed and cut specifically for your order, we cannot accept returns or exchanges unless the fabric is defective or there was a printing error.

Our system moves quickly. Once an order enters the production queue (usually within a few hours), it cannot be changed or canceled. Please double-check your yardage and substrate choice before completing your purchase.
