How long does it take for you to print and process my order?

Our standard production time for print-on-demand and warehouse fabrics is 5–7 business days, though we often ship faster!

Each order is processed just for you in our South Carolina facility. You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information as soon as your order is on its way.

Do you offer refunds or exchanges?

Accepted Answer

Because each order is printed and cut-to-order just for you, we are not able to accept returns or exchanges unless the item is defective or there was an error in processing your order.

Can I use Springs Creative fabrics for commercial projects?

Our fabric offerings include both licensed and non-licensed designs.

Non-Licensed Designs: Fabrics featuring original patterns or designs not associated with external brands or characters can generally be used for both personal and commercial projects.
Licensed Designs: Fabrics featuring licensed characters or brands (e.g., Disney, Paramount) are intended for personal, non-commercial home use only. Using these fabrics for commercial purposes, including the sale of finished goods, is not permitted.

What is Print-on-Demand fabric?

Print-on-Demand (POD) fabric is a production method where designs are printed onto fabric only after an order is placed.

This approach is better for the environment vs. traditional printing methods. Our process minimizes overproduction and reduces waste, as we don’t maintain large inventories of pre-printed fabrics.

Do you have a physical storefront? Can I pick up my order?

We do not currently have a public retail store or showroom.

At this time, we do not offer local pickup. All orders are shipped directly from our South Carolina production facility to your door. We appreciate your understanding!

How is Print-on-Demand different from in-stock fabric?

Print-on-Demand Fabric: Printed just for you, when you order it. We custom print these fabrics at our South Carolina facility after your order is placed. That means less waste, more design variety, and you get just the amount you need.

What if my fabric arrives damaged or incorrect?

We’re so sorry to hear your order arrived differently than you expected, and we want to make it right.

Please email us at support@springscreative.com within 30 days of receiving your order. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the fabric or packaging. We’ll review your request and work with you to resolve the problem.

My fabric just arrived! What should I do next?

Yay! We’re so excited for you to start creating. Here are a few tips to get started:

Pre-wash (if needed): Pre-washing helps soften the fabric and accounts for any shrinkage before you sew. Springs Creative fabrics do not arrive pre-washed.
Follow care instructions: Each fabric base has its own recommended care routine. To get the most out of your fabric, visit our Fabric Details page for care instructions by fabric type.

Can I modify or add to an existing order?

Because we begin printing and processing your order quickly to stay on schedule, we’re not able to make changes once your order has been submitted.

If you realize something’s off, contact us at support@springscreative.com as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to help before production starts.

What if I ordered the wrong fabric or changed my mind?

Because we print and process fabric just for your order, we unfortunately can’t accept returns or offer exchanges for items ordered incorrectly or for changes of mind.

We recommend double-checking fabric type, design scale, and yardage before checking out.

Can I order swatches?

We’re working on adding swatch sizes to our print-on-demand offerings very soon!

Can I combine multiple orders to save on shipping costs?

We’re currently unable to combine orders after they’ve been placed, as each one enters our production system individually.

If you’re planning a large order, we recommend placing everything in one cart to take advantage of combined shipping at checkout.

Can I cancel my order after it’s been placed?

Once an order has entered production, it can’t be changed or canceled.

One of the best parts of our print-on-demand model is that our designs are always available—no sell-outs!

If a listing has multiple fabric options, it’s printed on demand in our South Carolina facility.

From time to time, we also have a selection of pre-printed designs from our trusted overseas partners. These designs do have a limited inventory. If you have a question about a specific design, please email us at support@springscreative.com!

- Fleece: Great for no-sew blankets, outerwear, and plush pet beds.
- Flannel: Ideal for baby items, cozy blankets, and cold-weather crafts.
Print on demand:

- Cotton Sateen: Ideal for structured apparel, home décor, and table linens.

Do you collect sales tax on orders?

Yes, Springs Creative is required to collect sales tax on orders shipped to U.S. states where we have a tax obligation. The exact amount of tax will be calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and local tax laws.

We use automated tools to stay compliant with current tax regulations across the U.S. If your state requires it, you’ll see the sales tax applied before you complete your purchase.

How much fabric should I buy for my project?

The best way to know how much fabric to order is to choose a sewing pattern first and follow the yardage recommendations included.

We recommend rounding up if you’re between sizes or matching prints—just in case!

We take color consistency seriously, which is one reason Springs Creative is a trusted partner to top brands and artists.

While significant color shifts between orders are rare, slight variations can happen if your fabric is printed in separate batches. That’s why we always recommend ordering a little extra material for your project when possible. Our production team continually monitors printer settings and performs quality checks to ensure your fabric arrives looking just right.
