The Collaboratory
Partnership is at the core of the Springs Creative vision around which The Collaboratory was created. Comprised of the Design Center and the Archive, The Collaboratory space is designed for our creative team to use for research and think tank interaction. Further, the facility is available for collaboration with client partners, providing a stimulating environment for cooperation and inspiration.
The Design Center
The Design Center features state of the art equipment and a team of experienced designers and highly skilled CAD technicians, all eager to collaborate with clients in the pursuit of What’s Next. Now ® in the world of textile and product design.
The Archive
A collection spanning more than 100 years of textile prints, swatches and art reference makes up an archive of historic proportions. This resource is available to our clients and partners for research, design inspiration and collaboration on new product lines.
Prints, wovens, yarn-dyes, and more are all well represented in this extensive collection of over 350,000 references and swatches from the late 1800’s to the present.
The Archive is overseen by a curator with an extensive background in textile history. Her mission is the preservation and accessibility of the vast collection.
We encourage our clients to visit The Design Center and Archive Collaboratory ® , peruse the collection and partner on programs and custom-tailored products. Arrangements to visit the Collaboratory can be made through a Sales Representative.
