The Springs Creative Shanghai Trading Company (SCSTC) recently partnered with the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill’s Global Business Project (GBP). Through the program, students from four different universities evaluated the SCSTC business plan and worked with the staff to establish new processes.

The students recently commented on their international experience and Springs Creative's foreign investment expansion in China:
- "Springs Creative has undertaken a very advantageous position in the global economy during these uncertain times by investing directly into the world's number one emerging market through a FICE. As it establishes its own sourcing arm in China, Springs Creative is performing well and ensures its continued success that will build on its 120 years of experience in the fabric industry. Furthermore, Springs Creative has the benefit of its extensive global experience that complements its strong relationships within China. Particularly in these difficult economic times, the do-it-yourself fabric and craft industry is an area in which US consumers may spend more money to make products themselves rather than purchase finished goods. Springs Creative has picked an excellent time and executed a well-laid plan to expand its operations overseas."
