“Quilts Tell Stories” exhibit begins today!
March 25, 2011
Located at both the White Home and Main Street’s Center for the Arts in Rock HIll, the quilt designs span more than 150 years. The exhibit also features contemporary quilts. Quilts do tell stories and both are passed down from generation to generation. If your family is fortunate to have family heirloom quilts, as mine is, then you know this will be a fabulous exhibit!
Springs Creative is a sponsor of the event and will be present at two of the special events. We’ll also be conducting demonstrations at the April 15 luncheon. We’ll be sure to take photos of the quilts and the demonstration so we can post them for you!
The quilt show runs from March 25 until April 28 and is presented by the Arts Council of York County, Historic Rock Hill and the White Home and the York County Quilters. For more information, read the recent article in the Rock Hill Herald.
