Dressing for the Holidays
December 17, 2010
• Go gold: It’s easy to find great accessories to jazz up any outfit when steeping out for the holidays. Gold bangles, earrings or necklaces will add a great glow to any outfit.
• Be-dazzled: Whether it’s heels, flats, or boots embellished shoes are a great choice. When you’re sitting on the couch at your friend’s Christmas party, guests will be sure to notice your stand out shoes!
• Bold Red: What better color is there to wear at Christmas? Not only does it follow the trend of the season, a red top, dress, or skirt will put you in the holiday spirit!
• Decked Out: Deck the Halls? What about your outfit? Rich fabrics like taffeta, velvet, and metallics are essential for any party ensemble around the holidays.
• Winter Wonderland: Do not fuss over what coat to wear, or bother with purchasing a new one. You’ll take it off as soon as you arrive! Focus on what everyone will see: what’s underneath.
• Above all, be you and wear what you like! And of course, have fun!
