Make it Yourself!™ Fleece Kits

Utilizing the company’s most popular substrate, our Make it Yourself! Fleece Kits are the perfect hands-on, no-sew project for crafters of any age. These popular kits feature some of our best-selling entertainment licenses.

Each kit contains two pieces of our top quality fleece – a printed top panel and a coordinating solid back panel (43’’ x 55” finished size). With preprinted cut lines around the border, creating a perfect fringed edge is quick and easy with no measuring or marking required. The two layers of fleece makes the finished throw super soft and cozy.

The technique is simple: just cut, fringe and tie the edges of the fleece to create soft throws, pillows and pillow shams.

We currently offer the following programs:

Basic Throw Kits
Snuggly fleece throws are a cinch to make with our basic kits available in colorful designs including John Deere, Vintage Mickey Mouse, Disney/Pixar’s Cars, Tinker Bell, Pooh and Disney Princesses.

3D Throw Kits
Consumers who enjoy working with embellishments will love sewing or gluing the additional art elements in these kits to the finished throw or pillow. For example, on the popular Tigger 3D throw, a bumblebee, printed on an additional fabric strip, can be trimmed out and glued to Tigger’s nose. In addition to the Tigger design, Make It Yourself 3D Throw Kits are available featuring Pooh, Tinker Bell, Disney Princesses, Mickey Mouse and Disney/Pixar’s Cars. Coordinating sham kits (20” x 26” finished size) are also available.

Travel Kits
Packaged in a drawstring backpack, this fleece kit includes a throw, travel pillow sham and 12” x 16” inflatable pillow form. Designed for young travelers, these fun fleece Travel Kits feature colorful artwork featuring your favorite Disney characters. Available in March 2008. Take a look at these great kits.

Fleece Facts
The surface of fleece, as it comes off the knitting machine, is covered with looped fibers, much like terry cloth. It is then brushed and sheared, opening up the loops, creating a soft, plush surface.
