April Johnston/Project Runway Apparel Fabrics
April Johnston, one of the Season 8 Project Runway stars, and Project Runway have partnered with Springs Creative to design apparel fabrics. April graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design and currently still resides in Savannah. Immediately after graduation, she traveled to New York City to appear on Season 8 of Project Runway. While on the show, she was able to showcase her diverse design talents. April draws from nontraditional ideas for her inspirations. Her designs include blacks, lilacs, red, pink and blues and are translated onto taffeta, knits, jacquard and polyester blends.
April’s fabrics are available exclusively at Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores and are in store now and are being updated daily on joann.com. Stay tuned for her Spring 2012 collection!
